Default Holiday in SA

Ok, so I am back from my holiday - but I have come to the conclusion that my "photographic muse" is possibly dead. I took my camera everywhere, but just didnt take it out to shoot anything. I came back with less than 200 shots I can do something with. That is for a months worth of time.
Have anybody else experienced something like this? Could probably call it Photographers Block.

Anyway here is some of the shots - I am busy working on the last lot so will post some of those later.

ET did not go home, he is hiding somewhere in the Cape Town region...

I love your Kleinmond picture as well. I'm a sucker for looking down the pathway. and to capture the disappearance into the water is a great perspective! Like any artist, I think you have to be in the right mood to "create" Great pictures sometimes happen unexpectedly, but most picture take a great deal of thought, set-up and artistry. Your muse will return!!

I'd say your muse is just fine! These are wonderful Captures. My favorite is the Goat Tower. But It's a toss up between it and the 2nd and 3rd. Beautiful work.
Thanks for sharing these
Michael

I can picture that happening...in fact it has happened to me before, but I can't imagine it happening in SA. Perhaps because I love it so much and can't move back there yet... but I like these shots you did get.

Sorry about your loss of photos from SA. We spent a month there also and took over 8000 pics. You do have some really awesome photos here....especially the last one.
Very nice set.

Thanks digeraghty - I got on my knees for the pathway, I believe that is the only shot I have put effort into. The weather has a great influance on my creativity, if its wet and cold I cant create, I think the winter was too long for me.

Thanks Michael - I appreciate your comment. I like the goat tower too, the sun was all wrong, but I decided to just fire away, and I am glad I did.

Thanks leonaashlee - I went prepared, dragged my camera all the way with me (not an easy task when flying halfway across the world) but still when I got there, I felt nothing.

Thanks Ella - then you got a lot of work if you still got to do 8000 pics. I only got about 80 to work through. Some of Table mountain, and Namakwaland (flowers - dont know if you ever heard about that?) A lot of tourist go for game parks, but this is such a quiet beautiful display that most miss it.
Very dry part of SA, and in spring if the rains were good, the fields are just flowers as far as you can see. Will post some pics later when I am done, although I only took a few.
