Default the innocence...

A few more shots from one of my sessions earlier this week. No 4 is similar to a picture which has already been posted, but I think this may work a little better than the original.

Cute subjects you had. I love the one of the two kids together.

Thanks guys. 1 question..does anyone find the double catchlights in some of these shots distracting? I do usually remove the second one where present, but only just noticed I haven't done it on these...my bad!

Personally speaking, I don't find them distracting at all. These are excellent shots my friend.

No problem at all Ram. I use a 4 light setup for high key images. 2 lights at 45 degees to the backdrop (vinyl in my case). Model(s) positioned in front of these 2 back lights (avoiding spillage on to the subject(s)). 2 lights then used for the model, again roughly at 45 degrees to the model...one main light..one for fill. The settings for these were f11 on the model...background f16.

The results are not always perfect, but this should give you a good starting point to start any minor tweaks. If I'm really not happy with the results when I get the shots home, I'll brighten the background with a curves adjustment. I have also been known to duplicate the layer, bump up the exposure by 1 stop on the top layer and then erase through the model.

Hope this helps!
