Just a few shots at Exhibition Park, as well as local scenery. I hope you enjoy these, and thanks for looking.

Nice variety of shots plangereis. I like the way that you captured the horses in motion and my favourite of the set is the third one. You gave it a geat title too and nice blue colours in the water. Thanks for sharing a great set.

Dave.

The colors (except in the B&W, of course) are very nice. And I like the casual, everyday moment captured in your first photo.

Love the lean of the horses coming around the corner. I can feel the power.

Thanks Dave. The girl kept following this guy that day, hence the title.

I found the first photo interesting as I never thought parents would bring their kids to a race track. I kept thinking were the little girls with the race schedules picking horses for their parents?

I wished I had a longer lens that day so I could get closer to the jockeys. Thanks for the kind comments

Thank you Kaze. I also loved the colours in this one and they were basically SOOC. I just played with contrast and sharpened a bit.

Quality pictures, the race course looks fun, did you have a bet or pick the winner. My winner is the third picture. I love the water and the couple paddling through it, great movement and colours Paul and it looks like it was a beautifully sunny and warm day, roll on summer again

Thanks Hayward. Every time I look at this shot I keep thinking about my youth, and the summer days I used to spend in the USA at our cabin. Had a great time with the Americans that lived in Point Roberts. Lots of crazy parties!

Thanks Steve. I actually did well that evening. I think I ended up ahead about $4-$6 (Canadian, of course)! For me that was good as I usually walk away behind about the same amount or more! The water shot took me awhile to figure out how I wanted to crop it. I am finally getting a focus screen with a permanent grid on it so it will hopefully mean less cropping etc later. I really don't like cropping as I keep thinking you lose resolution and frame real estate. Take care.
