Default It's raining so these are a mixed bag of different shots

Starting off today's smorgasbord is this shot of Annie, my Bichon/Cocker Spaniel mix dog, looking over a group of flowers that were given to my daughter by her boyfriend

DSC_1811

Here is a weed from the Winchester walking trail

DSC_2824

According to my son, this is a very pregnant orb weaver spider......pretty hideous creatures and to think that I brush by these things in pursuit of a shot...eewww.....let's move on!

DSC_2418

Alright, let me explain.....you may remember my guardians post from a little while back. This was the first shot taken of the set and this is SOOC. I saw it and was like what the hell? f8 and 1/200th so what is the problem?......ahhhh, the night before, I was eeking out pics at 1600 ISO at my daughter's volleyball game and forgot to change the settings.....so if you want to know what 1600 ISO pics look like on a partially cloudy day...well, this is it. Despite the error, it's a keeper for me.....I think it's pretty cool looking....sort of ghost like.

Hi Patrick, cute dog, do you have to cut her hair or is she a shedder, ohh...and what did your daughters boyfriend do wrong? love the little weed and the spider is great. The last, I will be making notes and trying to do this on purpose I really like it.

Creative error! Before I read your explanation, I thought you processed it to get this effect. I like it.

Awesome shots, Patrick. I would have liked to have seen the spider shot a little brighter but it's still an excellent capture. And the last one definately has a "ghost" feel to it... love it.
