Default Black and White Church

Took these a few years ago in Santa Fe, but played around with them in Photoshop recently while trying to improve my PP skills. I don't have a specific question regarding either, but always open to comments/criticisms.

Those are really nice composition wise.

They do look a bit underexposed to me. You could add a bit of fill light or even do a screen layer. If you do then you can play with curves a bit to help with contrast.

As I said, nice composition.

Thanks, CJ. I think my PhotoShopping created the underexposure. I've attached the pretty well-exposed originals. I was going for a dramatic effect, but should I have left well enough alone?

They really look great in the originals. The effects you did could work if you did some masking and then play a bit with the contrast. They both are really nice shots
