Default Hooked on Flowers

I seem to be hooked on flowers lately. Maybe because summer is over and there won't be as many, or maybe because they stay put and you don't have to chase them down to get a good shot. My only problem is I don't usually know what kind they are. Hope you're not too tired of flowers.

This is one of the mystery ones. It was growing on a bush near the park where I walk my dogs. Because it looked like rain I didn't have my camera and so picked one to bring home. Check it out on my flickr, it looks better in the large size-----

What is it

Gardenia blossom & buds. I never knew white flowers were so hard to photograph---

Gardenias framed

Morning Glory. Purple is also my fave color----

The Color Purple

And the last of the sumer hibiscus. I tried to PS out that blurred leaf and it just didn't look right----

Hibiscus

Enjoy!

Who could get tired of your flowers Sheltiesmama. They are simply gorgeous and always so well presented. The colours are so beautiful in every one of them. I never know what they are called either but I do know they are a pleasure to view. Lovely work.

Dave.

Shirley what a beautiful thing to be hooked on. You capture these so well, all your flower shots are beautiful, even the ones of the neighbours. LOL

Great Set Shirley! You did well on the gardenia; White flowers are easy to over expose. Love the colors and the composition,
Thanks for sharing these
Michael.
