Default A big mistake

I was at a local farm yesterday to shoot some fall color and after shooting the pumpkins, I forgot I had my camera on manual. Oops. However, I kind of liked a few of the shots. I thought I'd post them hear to see if I'm just crazy!

No matter the method, I like the results! Very enjoyable. I like the textures in your second one, and that makes it my favortie.

This is a great set Martha, see, you found the inspiration and your photographs are excellent manual or not. I love the colour of the pumpkin in the first one and the other ones are great too and some nice detail in there as well. I never thought of dried up flowers making good subjects, but your post has told me different. I have plenty of dead flowers out the back so it's time to get shooting. Nice work Martha.

Dave.

I wish my mistakes came out looking as great as these! Love the dried out petals in the second shot, textures are wonderful

But if I had tried to blow out the exposure on purpose, it would have been a disaster. Funny the way that works sometimes!

The first and second ones are awesome! The best shots happen by accident!! So, accidentally, well done!!

Dave.
The sunflowers reminded me of Van Gogh's series of paintings, so I had to try to shoot them. I was lucky that some still had some color to them.
