Default went for a hike the other day....

so i had some spare time and was in the area and decided i'd go out for a hike. i had been wanting to go to this location for some photos, and i finally was able to. there's 2 entrances to it, and i chose to take the long way hoping for more opportunities. i'm pretty happy with the outcomes, but let me know what you think!

this one i was hoping to get the flow of the water a bit better, but i still like it...

and this is the whole reason i went on the hike, though i was hoping for more water to be flowing since it had just rained

I guess sometimes we just have to take whats going, but what a great selection of pictures you have got, they are great and the woods/ forest looks to be a good location with lots of continuing opportunities. I like them all but the first is particularly impressive, nice one

Beautiful shots, and I love the serenity of the area. Great reflection on the first one, which is also my favorite. IEven though there wasn't much water going over the fall, there is a marvelous pool on the bottom with lots of leaves. Would love to see this again when the leaves are at the eak of their fall color.

i will be returning there multiple times throughout the remainder of the year probably, as well as in the midst of winter when everything is snow covered. also plan on going back in the spring when the snow is melting and there's plenty of water flowing.

I love the light you captured in these shots. I love the woods so I am partial...but great shots.

I love forest shots. I could hang around all day. I like the first shot. The trees are overexposed, but it works well with the foreground. Nice work. Thanks. for sharing.

yeah, the trees actually had the sun shining on the tops of them so it was hard to get them to look green and natural. i took several shots here with the same results, this one being the best overall shot.

thanks everyone for the compliments!
