Default My ugly mug...

Sorry to desecrate the sanctity of DPS with my ugly mug, but I couldn't resist a self portrait using my new studio light kit. I used a light box and an umbrella with, I thought, pretty decent results for a first time with studio lights. Later in the evening I used a black muslin backdrop, but this one seemed to scream, convert me to b/w...so I did. I've got a lot more experimenting to do. My next project is b/w with side-only lighting. Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

Great Job on the self portrait, your lighting set up seems to work quite well. No overexposed areas. well focused.
Thanks for sharing this
Michael.
