Default Series on my hands in black & white

I think these images are much stronger than the original color. There are nine images of my hands in the series and you can find them on my flickr page. Here are a few:

Hi Rusty - the textures certainly shows up a lot better in b&w ... good choice

rusty, i love how the hand has separated from the background. great dof. nice work. an odd subject- but i can always go for odd.lol

Hayward, I agree that the textures are much stronger. The only post I did was in Adobe Camera Raw -- conversion to grey scale, pumped up the blacks and the contrast a bit more than with the color. I'm much more happy with these in b&w than in color.

Jo: I have a tendency to like odd too. I consider these self portraits of a sort. I'm thinking about feet next, as soon as I can overcome the modeling problems.
