Default First Post, new member - Astrophotography

Hi all

Have been receiving E-zine for a little while since finding it whilst doing some research on the new Canon 5D Mark II, just prior to buying one.

I have been involved in Astrophotography for a while but have now jumped into day time photography with a bit of trepitation and a lot of enthusiasm.

Here is aling to one of my shots which is a mixture of my night photog and the day camera, (5D).

Untitled Document

7 x 4 minute subs with the 135mm lens, mounted on top of my normal astronomy mount, telescopes and cooled cameras.

Cheers

Bob

Great shot! The noise control is excellent! I'm still trying to get the hang of star photography. Well done. Thanks for sharing!

Welcome to DPS!

We'll help cure you of that trepidation with daytime photography! The nighttime stuff, looks like you've got that down pat. Thanks for sharing. This is the kind of stuff I don't get to see. Well done!
