My guess: Long shutter, moving candle, held steady at the end for a short time.
Good image!

Well it looks like there is a larger clump of fire at the right of the shot so did you hold the candle parallell to the floor then move it then angle it into the vertical position.... or did you just spray some gas at it lol
Cool photo though. Even if it looks a bit over exposed but i guess thats hard to avoid Oh and put us out of our misery.. how'd you do it? Did you drag the match to the candle and photogrpah the process?

Can I play.......................and is there a prize
![]() I think somebody blew gentle across the top of the candle flame and then you captured the moment Innovative and very clever shoot raveen and certainly a great talking point. I'm very patient and will wait for the answer, but, consider taking a simple candle picture, with no special effects, cheers buddy beachcomber |

(but you shouldn't kick me after I reveal the truth). You also guessed well, but do you think, fire will spread like this much straightly and this much longgg when you blow up it? ![]() I wanted to take some pics with candle one day, but didn't have any idea about the shots. Then I tried something after switched off the fan and got it ... Thanks a lot for you appreciations, Beachcomber.-Raveen |
