They look more relaxed than stressed. They are not clenched but look resting after some hard work. Nice shot.

I agree with Bob...I like the shot, but they don't look that stressed to me either.

Excellent use of contrast, though the way your right shin is lit is a little distracting.

And the hands look like you have a lot of stress, but you've found a moment of reprieve.

Nice work on the B/W...excellent lighting and contrast. Did you use natural light, flash, or strobe? In any case, well done. Thanks for sharing.

Great feedback. I agree with the distraction on my shin. I should have used a snoot or barn door to modify the key light.

I used two 580 EXII's, one as a key light camera left and the other as fill bouncing off a wall that is camera right. Thanks for the note.

hi awesome shot love it. The lighting DOF and clarity around the hands showing the skin textures, this is really my thing and its inspiring

What I like the most about this image is that it has the capacity to tell of sooo many different stories. The processing is also wonderful. A job well done!
