Hi shred
i love b/w in fact i convert all the time so i am happy to give a few pointers. I love the selective colour in the first shot drawing attention to the sign, so its only dogs that get it then is it lol!! Your photos have clouds in and with my post editing i really try to bring them out in photoshop CS3. Sometimes b/w can look a little flat so i try to create a little drama, tension etc. Your last shot is great but i would be fiddling with those skys. Theres lots to play with in CS3, not sure if this is your thing? but give it a go its fun .
i have left a link to my DPS albums to give you an example of the skys and the effects
hope this helps
mike
ps i come from sussex whre abouts were your shots taken??

ok thanks for the advice, im not entirely sure i just went for a drive and found this field by the bluebell train line about a mile or two east of haywards heath, went for a walk and this is the result of about an hour walk. if you look at the 3rd picture the horizon line is actually the railway, its quite hard to see though.

mike, (also)
