I just come back from a 4 hour drive. After such long drive is refreshing to see this great beach photo.

Thought when I started this thread, I hand in mind that this thread will fill with so many sunset photo. Because thats most people capture. Boy I was wrong.

This prove there are beutiful thing at the beach other than sunset.

Maybe someone should start a new thread on the best sunset photo

maybe...

I'm not a beach person, so I almost never get to the shore with a camera. But by chance I was down near the Jersey shore yesterday, and here are two that I took:

Just a tad, but I don't mind. really great image hayward.
A tad tighter crop to eliminate the tree branch on the upper right hand corner would be good, but overall I think it is a truly magnificent photo.

Default Dizwold was a beach bum

Whenever i think of beaches i think of the times i spent on them with my dog diz. No matter what beach in england ireland scotland or wales he was up for it.All of these photos were taken nr Dunfries Blackrock beach in Scotland, the best one around for shrimping which was his favourite pastime and mine of course. He couldnt wait to get back for seafood spaghetti made with the catch of the day, shrimps prawns mussels and cockles yummo!! He past on earlier this year just short of his eighteenth birthday which brings me to the last shot in Kimmeridge bay in Dorset and back to his roots.
Thanks for suggesting best beach shots as it has brought back some great memories especially with the first shot when he knew he discovered levitaition lol!! The first one is my favourite and main shot but i couldnt resist putting on the others,
enjoy
