Default I never promised you a rose garden-----

I have to stay out of the neighbor's yards. Ok, technically, no one lived in this house so I guess there were no neighbors there. No one there and the last of the roses was going to die anyway, so I picked a bud to experiment with. LOL, I have a black thumb, not a green one. That's why I have to get my flowers from other people's yards.

First I tried a frame----

Pink Rosebud framed

Then I misted it some----

Sprinkled with love

Then a little more----

Out of the mist

And the next day it had opened up more----

Opening up

Amazing how one flower can have so many different looks.

Wowee Sheltiesmama, these captures are amazing and the water droplets are so sharp and clear. I can't pick a favourite but I do love the frame in the first one. Beautiful work

Dave.

Well done Shirley, you've acquired some wonderful pictures here and I can pick a favourite because I'm drawn strongly to the second picture with its pin sharp detail and focus, and lovely colours and tight petal cluster, nicely done

Shirley, no one here is going to fault you for borrowing beauty to share .. Wouldn't it be funny if the past owner who cared for these stunners was a member and saw what they shared too? great work ...

Thank you all.

Jack, I had to do something before it ended up like this-----

Worn out rose

At least I was able to capture it's beauty before that happened. And it would be funny if they saw it on here. You noticed I didn't say what house it was from, now did I?

Wow Mama, that is a totally beautiful series you have there! I agree the water drops are very well done! the focus is spot on!! I think that #3 is the best for me, but they are all a beautiful piece of art. Very Very nice shots, you should give yourself a pat on the back big time! Thanks!

Wonderful series sheltiesmama, these are so well captured and focused. The dew drops just add to the splendour. TFS
