Default Eureka!

This shot is of Melbourne, Australia. It was taken looking out one of the windows at the Melbourne Aquarium. I didn't make any adjustments on it. I think the window I was looking out may have been tinted or something in order to get the colours the way they are...but I'm not totally sure.

The tall tower to the left is the Eureka Tower (hence the title of the post) and is at least 88 floors. That floor is all windows and you can look out over the city (totally amazing, btw). They've also got a steel mesh cage that goes out about 10 meters from the building. I wasn't brave enough to go out in it, but some of those whom I travelled to Melbourne with did, and they said it was very windy and the cage shook a lot. Not my cup of tea!

You're right, the colors are great in this. Well done.

Great shot - we just made bookings, last night, to go to Melbourne in March 2010 and with views like this I am going to have fun with my camera.

Cheers, Bernz

What a majestic image. Love the color of the sky, and the way the clouds are sitting. Nice shot!

Thanks Leona!

Angeleyes - I know what you mean. It took me a bit to adjust to the glass walls (ceiling to floor) and not feel like I was going to fall. I would never go out in the cage - not that brave!
