Default Up, Up And Away....

Two NZ Shags (Cormorants)
Two NZ Shags (Cormorants)
These were very interesting to watch, flying with wings almost touching the water as they skimmed the surface, looking for fish, after which they soared up into the air and flew at great height back down the estuary.

Thames Coast NZ
Thames Coast NZ
This was driving up the Thames Coast on our way to our favourite fishing spot.

An Optical Illusion
An Optical Illusion.
This bird flew into the picture and looks big in comparison to the rock formation only because he came in on a zoomed focus.

Stormy Skies
Stormy Skies.
After a beautiful sunny day fishing, we turned to head for home, and there waiting behind us was a brewing storm.

Well you took some fantastic pictures while you were on your way to fish and some great ones on the way back from fishing, but did you catch any fish???
I really like each of them in turn, your shot of the sea gull flying away, and the last one of the approaching storm are my favorites.
Thanks for sharing these
Michael.

Thankyou Ryan. The last one has two seasons in one...the sunshine on the hills and the pending rain. It's a little different...

Thankyou for your kind feedback. Perhaps I should get a job with Tourism, do you think? Na, needing a bit more perfecting before then, but I'll work on it. LOL

Thankyou Michael for your ever kind and encouraging comments. Sadly, the fish were playing hard to get, so we came home empty handed. These lttle fellows are only a half hour drive away, so better luck next time.
