hmmm maybe i would have moved the cam a bit to the left or more to the right.i does seem a bit out of place in the center.or else totally good pic to me.

A little out of focus but lovely colours! I like the shot,& dito Shimuzki. Try it again, I'd love to see your new composition in full bloom!

I am a newb when it comes to photography, but to me, the placement looks nice. If you moved to the left, it would be shrouded in bokeh. If you moved to the right, it would unbalance the frame. There is blue in the negative space which balances some of the yellow in the bud. I think it is a very well composed shot.

Lovely shot as stated above I would suggest some negative space in front of the bud to add to it set the bud picture left to balance the composition a bit and bingo a winning image
