Default Boats At Low Tide

I took this photo in June. I did some cropping from the bottom and righthand side (wanted to remove the bridge out of the top, but it didn't look good when cropped), adjusted colours, etc. and then converted it to black and white and played with contrast. I'm still not sure what I'm doing with PSE, but I'm at least enjoying learning! I'm sure the photo could be made better, but that's all part of the process .

This is nice. The crop looks good. I'd really like to see your color version as a comparison!

Very nice shot and I like the B&W effect. Seems to me you are doing just fine with PSE. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks Jim & Mike!

Here's the colour version...

From Shutterbug

The colours on this one may not be adjusted. I was more or less trying to figure out how to do the watermark so I may not have played around with the colours or sharpness, etc.

I like the color version too! You could crop this one down to just the boats to fill the frame with all those colors and have another great image. Thanks for posting it up!

I like both of these, and like Jim, I think it might be interesting to see the closer crop

Thanks guys! I'll try cropping it like you suggest and post the results here as well.

Ok, I played around with the cropping and this was what I came up with. Might not be the best look for the shot though...what do you think?

I'm not sure which one is best, they all work, but I have to go with the first, the cropping is great, very nice!

I like them all ...have you thought about doing one in selective colouring...now that will be another choice to confuse us. but seriously great shots.
