Default An Afternoon At The Park-----

Spent yesterday afternoon at a park here in Houston. It was actually a fairly cool day. Finally got some pics I've been trying to get. So today is a variety. Isn't that the spice of life?

My bird shot. And wouldn't you know it's one of the only birds I totally dislike, a grackle?

The Grackle

And some water shots. This is the Gus Wortham fountain, here in Houston----

This is a closer view of the side of the fountain----

And I just had to show this pretty girl. When I asked her name it was Bella. I almost cried but then asked if I could take her pic. Just had to put this in-----

Four excellent shots here at the park. Just shows you what you can do if you have that camera handy. Cheers, Bernz

I'm so with you on Grackles but I have to admit they are rather pretty (as your photo shows)--but with the sound turned down! Lovely, smoothing water falls--perhaps a balm to your spirit?

Great captures! That is one interesting looking fountain. It's been a long time since I've been to Houston to visit my sister. I'll have to get over that way soon (camera in tow of course!)

Great variety of shots. I like the water fountain one and the close up shot has great composition and soft flow of water.
