you are in full swing now.....really like the 2nd shot as the flowers on the left are in focus and some of the grasses on the right are in focus ....gives a selctive focus effect and is very symmetrical and balanced.

These photos just refresh the eyes! The first two flowers are new to me. What are they? I love their three tiered colors.

Thanks Patrick - can't wait until the roses are out. May go to a friends place to capture their peonies. Cheers, Bernz

Thanks Lindy - not sure what these are - will need to check with my wife who is a bit of an expert on flowers. Found these growing amongst grass with the daffodils. If my wife does not know may have to ask the gardeners at the Botanic Gardens. Cheers, Bernz

My faves are the first two as well. They all have great dof and composition. I went to the Hamilton gardens yesterday and captured some of the gorgeous spring flowers, don't you just love this time of year.

Thanks Angela - yes it is great. Unfortunately I had a busy weekend with family so didn't get a chance to get any fotos - should have the the Wallabies and All Blacks rugby teams were in town. Thank goodness the ABs won this won. Cheers, Bernz
