Default Autumn is nearly here!

And I'm very excited! Its been a bit too warm this summer - and finding a yellow leaf is just what I needed.

I've not gotten good enough with GIMP yet to fix the over bright bit of sky in the upper right (everything I've tried looks just awful). I rather like the blurry grass in front of the leaf though, so the picture is mostly a win for me. Ha ha!

Love the shot. Fall is my favorite time of year and I hope to get a lot of great shots.

Like the contrast of the yellow against the blue

Thank you for the kind words. I'm looking forward ever so much to the full burst of colors here in the Appalachian mountains come October. I've never gotten a truly excellent photo of the colors as a landscape, but this year I hope to succeed at last!

As a photographer I just love Autumn - the colour in the leaves is excellent especially the yellows and the reds. Great shot - keep them coming. We are in spring on the other side of the world. Cheers, Bernz
