I'm remembering a day on the beach at Nags Head a number of years ago. I was attending a conference in Virigina Beach, and we had a break between sessions, so I headed south with no particular destination in mind other than the ocean. I quickly learned that the Atlantic is very different than the Pacific--it seemed fiercer, grayer, more tumultuous. Your photo brought the feel of that day back complete with sound effects, smells, and cold wind. I love the power of photos to jog one's memory. Thanks, Mike.
