Default Back to Reality

Hello everyone. Here is a couple of pictures from my recent Canal Barge trip. I did some pp on the first one to try to create a feeling of coming back to reality after a day in the sun on the canal. The second one was taken just before the first one in the same location.

Back to Reality

Lancaster Canal

Dave.

Excellent shots Dave.
The first one does have a fairy tale feeling.

Nice work, Dave. I like the surreal effects you created on the first shot.

These are really lovely Dave. Both of them...like the PP. I would love to do that.

Who boy Dave, these are outstanding. Reality does seem kind of cold and grey doesn't it? The cool thing is, is you can make it something of beauty as you did here.

I love the muted colors in the second one, but the first one is my favorite. As soon as I looked at it I thought of Tolkein's grey havens. It begs the question - what lies beyond?
