thanks everyone. that beach was right off a main road shot about 2 weeks ago. it looked like that as far as you could see, and there was only about 4 other people on it. it was so beautiful and peaceful that i had to take some shots. wish i was still there!!!

Beautiful bright blue clear skies. I was there last week and it was quite stormy 5 of the 7 days. My pictures tell quite a different story. Glad you had fun! Wish I was back there, too.

Beautiful shots. I especially like the last with the footprints leading to the horizon. Where in Outer Banks were you? We had a small family reunion in a super 8-bedroom house in Duck two years ago - last week in May. We had beautiful weather (a bit chilly) with blue skies and deserted beaches. I love it there.

we actually stayed right in Duck, but the beach those pictures are from were about a half hour south of there. we had beautiful weather the entire 8 days we were there. there was one day when the "no swimming" flags were up due to riptide, but it was at the end of our stay and we had already been in the ocean enough so we didnt mind much at all. i can't wait until we can go again next year!
