First, I want to thank everyone for their heartfelt comments on the passing of my two furbabies. I'm not over it by any means, don't think I will ever be. But I have to carry on for the sake of my other three furkids and for my sanity. Thank you all from the bottom of my heart.
I finally picked up my camera again when I saw an amazing bush in front of a house that is for sale just down the street from me. Thank goodness the house was empty cause I was in the front yard for quite some time. These pics are from an Ixoria bush (I had to hunt it down on the net). Unlike any flowers I had ever seen. Enjoy. The buds--- ![]() They progress to this--- ![]() Then this---- ![]() Until they become this bundle of blooms---

It's so nice to see you posting again after you sad loss, and the flowers that you have posted are simply gorgeous. The colours are stunning. No favourites here Sheltiesmama. The whole set is amazing. Very nice work.
Dave.

Good to see you posting again Shirley. These are outstanding shots. I really like how you got the series from bud to full blown bloom. Very nice.

Shirley, I am so happy to have you back on here. Glad you're feeling up to it. Keep on clicking and posting. I have a new furbaby and will be posting his pics sometime soon. I think Angella has already put hers on.
These flowers are really beautiful, from beginning to end. Nice work.
