Default Eyes of Loves

"Now that I've found you, I'll call off the search" - Katie Melua

I was driving to work yesterday with my iPod on Shuffle and, by random selection, this song, How Love Should Be by Chris Botti began to play. This photo popped into my brain and wove in and out of my thoughts all day. I took this photo of my daughter and son-in-law in 2004 in Lucca, Italy. I asked them if I could share it with you all and they gave me their permission.

I did some reading this morning about the importance of eye contact. Marnia Robinson in an article for Psychology Today suggests that eye contact (along with other simple behaviors) is "the lazy way to stay in love". I make this simple suggestion.
Find someone you love and look at them--really look at them--with eyes of love.

Now That I Found You....

I am new to photography, but what I am seeing and reading in this thread of yours Lyndy Anna is what I am beginning to feel as a result of my new found hobby. Something invades your senses, in your case auditory, and a whole series of feelings erupt within you. One see's common everyday things in a new light, and with new meaning. Suddenly light, seasons, colour, perspective take on new meanings. How can I have spent the last 62 years on this planet bereft of these experiences. I have much to make up for and photo's like this motivate me big time. Thank you. Paul.

Thanks, Lindy! You've given me my relational homework for when I get home tonight! Lovely picture that fits so well with your words.

Thanks, Dogtaggart. Love can be infectious...at least that was my hope!

Martha, you noticed your heart. I've been paying attention to the beat of my heart when I look at photos. It responds faster than the brain and is good information!

Thanks so much, Leona. These are the parents of the grandchildren. But first they traveled the world for 1.5 years and had a wonderful time.
