Default Flowers From Home

This is taken from the creek bed at the bottom of our property, We have all sorts of wild plants, that are pretty (even the weeds sometimes)

Wild Bird Of Paridise

Fara, the Pandanus Seeds Not a Flower, but pretty in its own way.

A Wild Ginger Flower Bud

I hope that you enjoy these, I love shooting flowers and have hundreds that I am slowly trying to catalog, Many of the weeds in the tropics have absolutely gorgeous flowers

Wow...lovely shots. Very crisp/clear. #2 reminds me of a pineapple! Very pretty for "weeds"!

Fantastic vivid colours of these flower/weeds. You are lucky to have such a handy place to take photos.

Thanks to all of you for looking and commenting, I am planning on doing a lot of reading and studying here, I like what I am seeing and I think that there is a really tremendous amount of really good information in here. I just returned home in July, and had not posted in here in months, I was having some health problems which took every free moment I had, and now I am back home for good and recuperating quite well. Started gaining weight again, and am in the process of getting ready to do a shoot from the top of Mt. Temehani.. Just making sure that I am going to be able to complete my stay up there before I set off. I want a minimum of 4 days for light and also some weather... We're headed into late spring at present, this is our dry season, and facing us will be the hot wet months, the monsoons... Really good for some spectacular photos, if your in the right place at the right time...
More laters and again Thank you all

Default A few more flowers from home

Unknown Flower with seed pods

Same Plant just a younger flower bract

I have no idea of what this plant is called, the leaves are ovoid in shape, we have another that has a flower that is identical but the leaves are large and look like pot leaves.. It isn't in bloom at present, but will put up shots of them when they are back in bloom.

My Daughter's White Hibiscus

Unknown Wild Flower Hidden in grass and creepers on the side of the creek bed
