Hi Kaa
yes the eyes are amazing whether done in b/w or colour, but i agree in b/w with selective colouring makes it a bit unreal. The eyes of owls are the most striking bit so i wanted to concentrate on this. The feathers of owls are incredibly soft to the touch apparently for silent flying and so as not to be heard by thier prey.

I thinks owls always look like this, i havent seen a happy one yet except for maybe Barn owls, they have a different shaped face than most others.Before i go any furthur let me cast your mind back to the first YIKES thread i posted with the cheetah, remember?? need i say more
