Smile Night Shot At THe dock.

Hi Everone , this is my first thread, I am by far not a photographer just learning from you guys watching and reading .

I took this shot in the night by 10 pm in dubai near festival city .

I have EOS 400d with 17-55mm sigma f2.8 for this shot .
shutter speed was abt 15 seconds and my camera exposure was at manual mode .
after taking the shot i enhanced it in photomatix 3 and then in Light Room . The camera has to be on tripod. and yeah thats it
I could not get the picture size properly edited , for that if u couls help me
pls let me know if i can improve my pictures .
Thanks everyone and DPS .

Hi Devilsnephew and a warm welcom to our friendly forums here at DPS. This is an amazing capture. The colours and detail are stunning and the reflection is awesome. You couldn't have made a better start on the SYS forum. Keep up the great work and enjoy your time here. Have fun.

Dave.

Beautiful! The reflection is one of the first things that grabbed my attention. Excellent first post, and welcome to DPS!

As for posting images, I think the operators of this site will be doing away with the attachments feature in the near future. You might want to consider signing up for one of the free image hosting sites such as Flickr or Photobucket. Those sites will generate code that you can use to post your photos in various size formats.

That is a gorgeous shot. In my experience, night photography can be stunning or a disaster - and that is stunning!
