Default Pensive

Hi all,

I'm new, and this is my first submission. It's just a quick snap, but I like it because it's not contrived or posed. My daughter has a habit of making this smirky smile whenever I ask her to pose, and I don't like it. This I like. I also like the blown-out effect against the dark background, but I think my preferences are a little off. Anyway, here's Gracey.

Lovely natural shot, as you say a little blown out but it gives that glow appeal if it’s what you’re aiming for! I would crop it a bit closer try and blur out the back a bit as its distracting, she's gorgeous. Well done, I get my daughter to model for me all the time now, she was shy at 1st but now I can’t get her out of the way! Lol.

Talking

Haha - all the kids around me seem to have the opposite reaction. I had a hard time, recently, trying to get a decent shot of my nephew - everytime I nearly got one, he was dashing around to see himself on the screen. But he's only 2, so...
