Default Flowers for the wife, 3 ways

Picked up the wife some flowers the other day, now when I'm shopping for her flowers the photographic potential seams to be heavy in the decision making. and then when the wife sees me giving her flowers more attention than herself, she may question my motives in the first place. so to show her the all around benefits I devised a new flower giving technique. I had the flowers at home before her, so I took some photos and uploaded. picked a good one, edited it to make it soft and romatic. added a loving script across the top and printed it out at 8x10. she loved it, now it's framed. next flowers I'll do the same thing and replace the framed shot. it will be a revolving frame.

I don't have the shot I framed for her here, but I have three takes on one of my favorite shots, this is after half the plant has started to wither, while half has just bloomed.

I was playing at this point, but I have to admit I like it.

All are very nice but I really like the effect of the third one.

thanks leona and mike. I used my thrifty fifty for this shot, trying to get as sharp a shot as possible. they turned ok for sharpness I think. and I was surprised how nice the negative filter turned out.
