Default Daughter & Mom

I look at the postings here and stand in awe of the quality I see.

Anyway - while this is really just a snapshot of Becca and Jean as we waited at Old Spaghetti Factory, it actually turned out to be one of my better captures of the two of them. Natural light at about 5:00 PM, Olympus E-500.

If I had realized it would turn out so well, I would have had them move to the middle of the couch to eliminate the frame behind Jean's shoulder. But then if I had tinkered with it, it might probably have ruined the spontaneous pose.

Sometimes the casual poses are the best. Nice shot!

The facial expression is great. Side-lighting is great for that especialy in older people. This was worth the trouble of a tripod

Thanks.

No tripod though, just handheld, one knee on the floor, I think.
