Thats a beautiful selection of pictures Mike, theres not one I wouldn't be proud to own or have taken but the first just shades it.
Beautiful colours and a hint of movement in the wings and everything else pinsharp other than the background. Its an excellent picture, congratulations

way to go on these....always difficult to captures those whites for me and you nailed it.

Michael, these are great action shots, and like you said, caught just at the right moment which requires a lot of patience and timing. I've enjoyed them all, but I think I like the first one best with the egret coming in for a landing with his landing gear down. Well done!
