Introduction

Hello everyone,

I've been a long time reader of DPS but I just created an account yesterday. I figured I would share a few shots I've taken in the past few months since I bought my first dSLR. I'm still learning how to use it (which is resulting in a lot of under/over exposed images) but I'm having a lot of fun.

I'm using a Canon T1i (500d). I have the kit lens, a 100mm macro and 70-300mm. You can also check out my flickr page. Thanks!

#2 and #3 are great, I love the colors on #3.

Brian, nice capture in #3. The colors are great and the refracted image in the droplet are terrific. I also love the emotion conveyed in #1.

And don't worry about underexposed or overexposed pictures; we all get 'em. The important thing is what you learn from them. I have lots to learn myself.

I really like 2 & 3! I am hoping to purchase a DSLR next month and can't wait to try my hand at water drops too. The colors on the water drop are very nice.
