my very first post..

hello everyone! i'm sort of hesitating at first, coz i think my entry level photography ain't good enough to share.. but i would like to show yall some shots.. i bought a canon eos1000d as a gift for myself on my birthday..i dunno why i chose a dslr; i dont know ANYTHING about it. its good to have an online support for dummies like me. lol


This shot i took while playing with my 8-month old niece:




These two i took from my neighbor's garden at 6am. a friend of mine told me to try to take pictures early in the morning when the ligting's great (of course i didn't know that at first but realized the essence of it after looking at the pics)

The first one is a great shot. I love the composition. I agree that a little saturation would really make it pop. Looks like you have a natural eye - that's the most important thing, in my opinion. The technical stuff can be learned!
