Default Lookin' Up ....

.... from under a bridge .. this is one of the many of Chicago's moveable bridge along the Chicago River .. and it's also the first B&W conversion image I ever posted -

A moveable bridge? hmm.... I like this shot and it works very well in black and white. It accentuates all of the lines and curves that are found throughout the frame lending an architectural feel to the shot

This is a great capture Hayward my friend. I like the way that you go from dark to light and still keep the amazing detail under and outside the bridge. The black and white conversion works so well with this stunning image. Thank you for the lesson Hayward.

Dave.

Hayward, I like the lines and patterns you have in this image and they are everywhere and complement each other. This is an excellent image for a black and white treatment.

Superb work Hayward. You composed the shot exquisitely, and your conversion is excellent.

I love the perspective of this shot, Hayward. The b&W conversion is also very nicely done, and, like some of the other posters mentioned, it accentuates the leading lines in this photo. Thanks for posting this one.
