Default Buckeye Wheatear???

Saturday, I started getting emails about a Northern Wheatear here in Ohio. Well seeing how it was a life bird for me...a major life bird for me...as in there have only been three reported(including this one) in the recorded history of Ohio birding, the last being ten years ago. I figured I had to make the trip three hours away and get some pics...My only problem..I forgot and left my ISO on 400 Oh well maybe In ten years, I'll see another.

Enjoy!

Is this the bird you were after? because it looks like you still got some pretty good pictures of him.

I think they are good shots, myself, in particular your last shot.

Yep it is. I did get a couple of good shots. I shoot in RAW 100% of the time, and for that I am glad. Because if things are just a little bit off, I can correct it there. The only thing I can't correct is detail lost from digital noise. All you can do is smooth it out.

Thanks. The last one is my favorite as well.

How wonderful to be able to catch a glimpse of something so rare. To get these photos--crisp, sharply focused, catch light in the eyes--must be thrilling for you. Yea. High five. Congrats!

Congratulations on capturing this one! I'm sure it must have been very exciting and although your pictures might not be as clear as you wanted them to be, they are still very good!
