Jonathan Seagull

Jonathan Seagull discovered that boredom and fear and anger are the reasons that a gull’s life is so short, and with these gone from his thoughts, he lived a long fine life indeed. Don’t believe what your eyes are telling you. All they show is limitation.
Look with your understanding.

Just fantastic Beach! I love how the gull stands out so well and in great detail against the dark waters

You really do have a cage of trained seagulls, don't you? Lovely crisp, clean shot.

Hey, Steve,

Great definition the bird and dof in the blue background.
Another beautiful composition for a large and rich collection of surprizing images.
Thanks for sharing!

Nice close-up and nice colore palette.

A question.
I've recently experienced that my eyes tend to prefer
- centered-subject pictures in close-up and macro "living" photography and, on the other hand,
- subjects positioned with the rule of thirds in general and "inanimate" shots.

I ask you Beachcomber, and each other obviously, this is only an impression of mine, do you share it, it's a convention, it's a rule?

I mean, I think your gull wouldn't be so pretty if it weren't centered...
Any replies?

Bye
