Default You just have to have a look.

Now I know I'm not the first person to take a picture of a dragonfly, but these are the first pictures I have taken

I took this last week, first dragonfly I had seen and although I only got him from behind I was pretty happy

Dragonfly-4

A few days later I found this fellow who was more than happy to pose for me.

Dragonfly-3

Dragonfly-1

This one my favorite

Dragonfly-2

Beach once described me as being the Cheshire cat from Alice in Wonderland. Well he could be right this time.

Awesome as usual! I really like the detail in the wings of the first shot.

hard to decide......I am initially drawn to the 1st shot due to angle and composition and the wing detail....it is obvious that you were going for the facial......and the last does a wonderful job of capturing that with the detail....all are sweet sweet shots........I am a true admirer of what you are able to pull off and how you capture such wonderful light and clarity in your images......way to go!

WoW they are fabulous - it is the colours that also strike me as well as the sharpness. Well done Michele. Cheers, Bernz

Michelle, they look like studio shots of a dragonflies. Exactly where did you place your strobe light? The last shot, was that the one where you said "Say Cheese!" Jeepers. These are great. This would be a great end to a day of looking at photos. Good night!

I love your second shot; great use of DoF, and the detail in the wings. Fantastic.
