Went out to the Point Bonita Lighthouse in the Marin Headlands yesterday. Some of the highlights.
The lighthouse (updated): ![]() The light: ![]() The footbridge to the lighthouse grounds. In the stiff breeze, it swayed: ![]() The frighteningly rusty support cables for the footbridge to the lighthouse grounds. It is much more unnerving when viewed full-size:

Nice set. I think that the 3rd and 4th images are the strongest.

Your third and fourth shot are great, love the bridge angle and the rusty cable. I think they better replace that cable now though.

I like them all, the first two set the scene, and I love seascapes, the third invites you to cross over for a closer look, and the last hints at what will be found there. The third is my favourite of a great set, nicely done kurtwall.

Hi Kurt! Great Set, The 1st one is wonderful, with the sail boat in the distance on the right side. Also like the close up of the light and the cable stay. I think I'd send this to the Coast Guard who I believe is incharge of maintaining the coastal light houses and hope have some much needed maintance done, before it's too late.
Thanks for sharing these Michael.
