Default Would you like to see more pelicans?

I love watching pelicans, they are huge birds, they look far to large to be able to fly yet are amazingly graceful.

Pelicans-2

Pelicans-1-1

Pelicans-3

Pelicans-4

hope you enjoyed them.

Wonderful Captures Michele! I do love these big beautiful birds, I love seeing them Dive and Hit the water so hard you'd think they must have broken something, but they come up (Usually) with dinner.
Thanks for sharing these
Michael.

Thanks Michael, Someone on flickr told me they saw a pelican swallow a duck!!! I suppose it is possible, I think I had better watch them a bit closer.

Very nice shots. I like the warm tones of the first shot. Did you know that the Brown Pelican is the state bird of Louisiana?
