Default Swan

My best image from a little trip to the park at 6:30am today.

I took this shot this morning, getting up a little after sunrise but before the nice golden light had reached the water.

The original was a portrait shot with a lot more of the river bank in view, but the nice light on the splashing water was lost. So, I cropped close around the swan being careful to leave the same space above the swan's head as in the reflection to keep it symmetrical.

The larger version can be viewed at my site http://www.bryanmansell.co.uk/?level=picture&id=33, and if you view it on my site I'd appreciate any comments you leave.

Info: 1/400,f6.0,ISO 200 120-500mm sigma lens at 290mm.

Very nice picture Bryan, I love the colours in it. It was worth the effort of getting up early.
