Default Fort Casey

Fort Casey State Park on Whidbey Island in Washington is a 467-acre marine camping park with a lighthouse and sweeping views of Admiralty Inlet and the Strait of Juan de Fuca. A coast artillery post features two 10-inch and two 3-inch historic guns on display. The park features 10,810 feet of saltwater shoreline on Puget Sound (Admiralty Inlet), and includes Keystone Spit, a two-mile-plus stretch of land separating Admiralty Inlet and Crocket Lake.

This is one of the guns from at the artillery post. Hope you like it...

That guy helps to tell how big that gun is! Looks smaller until you see that person to put it into perspective. Nice image

Fred, thats a big gun, I certainly wouldn't want that firing 3" or `10" or any size shells at me. Fort case looks to be a very interesting location, and this is a great picture, although unusual for you to go for a sepia look.

Great shot Fred! I was there many, Many years ago, I'd almost forgotten about it until I saw your post. As I remember it's quite impressive. I always wondered why they built the place. Who was going to invade Washington. state. l.o.l
Thanks for sharing this
