Default Urban landscapes - NY

Took these during my Labor Day weekend trip to NY.
I have only recently been bit by the photography bug and this is my first post on DPS...these days I am making up for my lack of experience with a lot of enthusiasm
Feel free to comment/ make suggestions on how I could have made these photos better..

Your enthusiasm shows, these are very well done. I particulary like the perspective of the shots. Welcome to DPS.

Welcome to DPS
I love the composition of these shots. The capture of the window with the pictures is great and the lighting in the last one is superb. I look forward to seeing more from you.

I'm quite fond of the last two. The first two are interesting and well done, but the bottom two (esp. 2nd to last) strike me as more original and intriguing. Very nice, all of them.

Thanks for the encouragement, people!

In the first two shots, the red brick building is separated from the next building by a street on either side..

I am saving up for my first DSLR... until then, I am having fun with my Canon SX10...I really like it, but as you can see in pic#4 it does get noisy

I was looking to capture something other than the usual neon glitter in Times Sq..all I had to do was look up The lighting on this building was a more neutral tone...changed WB to Fluorescent H to get the golden effect
