Wink Abstract????

Would these be considered abstract?

I'm not at all sure how abstract is defined in photography. I looked around and found this: Abstract Photography.

Your photos seem to me to meet the standard for abstract photography imposed in that particularly gallery. I gather the definition rather hinges on the idea of some element of the photo being "out of context" - as with the eyeglasses in front of the bird house, or the clothespin sunset.

Abstract or not, I really like both photographs. They leave me thinking about how simple objects might interact with my environment and create equally compelling images. Food for thought!

I don't know why you didn't get a lot of replies. these are very creative shots. I absolutely love these. a lot better than alot of shots that roll through here with a lot of replies including my own . keep up the good work

Well I think of abstract as a picture or painting that takes part of a recognizable subject and makes it unrecognizable, but what every category your pictures fall into, they are both Very Creative and well caputred. I like the simple approach, using everyday things to create your art.
