these are some pics of wheal coates engine house on the north cornwall coast at chapel porth , about 4 miles from my home
.this was a former tinmine and is 200ft above sea level . hope you like. the seaward pic is looking s/w towards st ives and gurnards head.

thanks for the nice replys . yes it is a beutiful location , it is even better in the winter when we have the storms hit , if you stand inside their is a metal grate and you can hear the sea surging up the shaft. just along the cliff from their, is a place called blowing hole and when it is rough the water blows out of the top of the cliff , going to have to get a few pics of that soon. the first pic has been photoshoped and i did add the lens flare , thought it made it abit more interesting .
