Default I got a photo in a magazine

well my neighbour came running over to tell me i had one of my photos in a local magazine. I was pretty happy to see it in there...gives me encouragement to keep at it. I didnt get paid for the magazine photo only for the actual ball night but at least its exposure if nothing else.
I took it at a church black and white ball...photo is top left corner and the one next too it.

one of my photo's top left was in the magazine fort wayne hoosier style

this is the magazine its in.

Congrats! It may not be the "best case senario" for having a picture(s) published but it's certainly a start. I'd be saving the page in your portfolio.

P.S.: Best case senario would have been getting paid for them publishing the photo.

I think the people in the photo sent it in so no i didnt get my name in it..but ill make sure next time i do....i have had a lot in the newspaper here in fort wayne and people are starting to know my work and who i am..so again the exposure is good i think.

Money would be nice too but as i said exposure is good at the moment..people are starting to recongnise my photos.

Ill do that for sure...at least people cant think too bad of it to send it in to the magazine.
