Default Ice Grunge Portrait and Scenery

Two "around town" images that I took yesterday in Charleston on my way home. I think I need to get out and do more of these kind of images so I don't get burned out just shooting people.... I'm finding this kind of photography is fun too...lol

I took this image while sitting in traffic. I "overdid" the editing on this one..will have to revisit it later in PS.
Bridge

Red doors of a church in my neighborhood. I was taking this while in my car...with the 85mm so couldn't get the steeple in the image...too lazy to get out of the car...lol
Church

and something completely different that I found in my files again today....
this is an ice grunge type of processing. I find that people either love it or they hate it! lol It was a tutorial that I followed online a few months ago. They may not be for everyone but they are definitely fun to make! This is my youngest daughter Taylor

I really like the 'Ice Grunge' look. It's an awesome picture. Where did you find the tutorial?

Hi Ruthie,
have to say I really love your work, the third image is so striking. It's amazing what can be achieved with a little post editing eh!! Cracking images thanks for sharing them..

Well Ruthie, when you do go out and shoot landscapes and nature you show your talent for forming images.. I love the sky and the shapes of the trusses in the bridge shot.. the selective color in the 2nd and that great stone wall in the second really play off well together and I'm a fan of the Ice effect, I remember that post in the "how I did it forum"
great job,, now someone please give that kid a blanket and a cup of hot chocolate !

BUT ! .. I have a problem with your photo outing !

I think I need to get out and do more of these kind of images so I don't get burned out just shooting people.... I'm finding this kind of photography is fun too

I was taking this while in my car...with the 85mm so couldn't get the steeple in the image...too lazy to get out of the car...lol

Your suppose to get OUT of the CAR ! ( damn studio photogs conditions are never right )

/hug
